Saint Mary's Church After the 1990 Tornado

Strong enough to withstand hurricanes & tornadoes
On August 28th, 1990 and F5 tornado (261-318mph winds) tore through Plainfield, Illinois. Directly in its path was St. Mary's Church. It took a direct hit from the tornado and it was the only building left standing, as shown in the aerial photograph. Other than broken windows, no other damage was done. The church was built using the Instament System.
